CART (Commit Agree Record & Track) System
Definition
A system for capturing and executing the special deals and agreements that make up the fabric of collective financial support that the Institute DLCs rely upon. Whether it be money from their Provost, Dean or other DLCs, most units have special financial arrangements with other units to support their operations. These arrangements exist outside of the accounting system and are administratively burdensome to reconcile and maintain. CART fosters a collective sense of ownership over these agreements by maintaining a complete catalogue of agreements in an efficient tool for future business officers who will inherit these responsibilities.
