Q: How can I access the O'Reilly Technical Books on Athena?

Answer

Please note this is an MIT libraries service and questions should go through them https://libraries.mit.edu/ask/

The MIT Libraries maintains a subscription to the Safari service, which contains online copies of the O'Reilly Technical Books. The books cover a wide ranged of computing topics and programming languages, and contain information useful to both novices and experts.

You can access the service by going to https://libguides.mit.edu/oreilly. You will be prompted to authenticate if connecting from outside of MIT.

For Access: Select "Institution Not listed?" when prompted to Select Your Institution and enter your MIT e-mail address.
