Q: Where can I find or change the WebEx host PIN for my Personal Conference number?

Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) is retiring MIT's Webex service. No new MIT accounts will be created after June 7 and the service will be retired on August 30, 2024. For more information, see: MIT's Webex service to be retired

Answer

These instructions require you to switch to Classic View. See: [archive:How do I switch Webex to Classic View?]

  • Log into WebEx and select My WebEx from the menu on the top
  • Choose the Preferences link located on the left side of the screen
  • Select the My Personal Room tab. Your PIN will be listed in the Host PIN box.

Note: You can also change your PIN if desired. The new PIN must be 8 digits and cannot contain sequential digits, such as 12345678, or repeat a digit 8 times, such as 11111111. Be sure to click on SAVE if it is changed.
