How do I remove a dropped course from my Canvas dashboard?
This is an automatic process. Under normal circumstances drops are processed in Canvas as follows:
- If you were pre-registered, your enrollment will be removed about a week after classes start.
- If you were registered and dropped the course later, your enrollment will be removed within a few hours of the change being in MITSIS. Timing may vary depending on processing times for drop requests.
If you were added to a Canvas course manually, please contact the person who added you to ask about being removed. If you are not sure who added you, please reach out to canvas-support@mit.edu.
