Q: How do I uninstall Sophos Central for Windows

Starting July of 2021, IS&T has migrated to a new version of Sophos called Sophos Central. MIT users have until the summer of 2022 before the old version will stop receiving updates. This page references the new version of Sophos. You can see documentation for legacy Sophos here and download the newest version of Sophos here.
  1. Type "Sophos" into search bar and Sophos Endpoint Agent will come up as a result.
  2. Select Uninstall from the list of actions in the right side of the Start menu.
  3. The Control Panel will open. Select Sophos Endpoint Agent, right-click, and select Uninstall.
  4. Please wait while Sophos Central is uninstalled. You may be prompted to restart the computer. Please do so now to complete the uninstallation.
