Don't see the Role ZMIT Folder in SAPgui

Question

In SAPgui, I don't see the Role ZMIT folder. What is causing this?

Context

SAPgui on Windows or Macintosh

Solution

1. Verify that they are in the User menu for SAPgui
   1. Click on the little green person icon in the upper left corner OR
   2. From the Menu drop-down, select User Menu.
2. In order to have the Role ZMIT entry in the SAPgui user menu, you must first have SAP authorizations. You can view your Roles Database authorizations with the following URL: https://rolesweb.mit.edu/cgi-bin/my-auth.cgi
3. If you have SAP authorizations and are in the User menu, ask the IS&T Help Desk to request that the R3 Accounts team take a look at your SAP profile.
