Add alm.mit.edu as a Trusted Site in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer

Context

When attempting to access http://alm.mit.edu to record SAP test results, you receive an error:

To resolve the error, add https://alm.mit.edu to the list of Trusted Sites, using the steps detailed below. Note that adding the site to the list of Trusted Sites in Internet Options will resolve the issue for both Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

Open the Internet Options window

Internet Explorer users:

• Start Internet Explorer
• Go to the Tools menu
• Select Internet Options

Microsoft Edge users:

• Open Control Panel
• Select the Network and Internet section
• Select Internet Options

Once in the Internet Options window

• Select the Security tab
• Click the big green checkmark that says Trusted sites
• Click the Sites button
• In the box labeled Add this website to the zone enter https://alm.mit.edu
• Click the Add button (https://alm.mit.edu should now appear in your list of trusted sites)
• Click the Close button
• Click OK to exit the Internet Properties window
