WinAthena

Definition

A legacy name for some computers in the win.mit.edu domain. This term should no longer be used as it has no well-defined meaning. It is still occasionally seen on old web pages and when referring to various deployed Windows machines. It has in the past been used to refer to MIT's central Windows domain, win.mit.edu, specific computer deployments in public student clusters that were members of the domain, the computers in the 37-312 Windows cluster, and so on.
