What does the star do on an RT 4.0 ticket?

When viewing a ticket in RT 4.0, there is a star in the upper right corner. When I click it, it turns yellow. What does this do?

Answer

  • Clicking on the star "bookmarks" the ticket for you. This lets you keep track of certain tickets you need to monitor.
  • To view bookmarked tickets, you may then add the Bookmarked Tickets section to your homepage.
    (Go to Logged in as... > Settings > RT at a glance)
