Use terminal application on Macintosh to access Athena

  • Launch terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal)
  • At the command prompt, type: ssh yourKerberos@athena.dialup.mit.edu. For example, if your Kerberos is example@mit.edu, then type: ssh example@athena.dialup.mit.edu
