Q: TLS Certificate Expired for the Server pgpuni.mit.edu

PGP is no longer being offered on the software grid. Support is being phased out and will discontinue at the end of 2016.

Answer

The certificate for the PGP Universal Server expires annually. Once a year, users running PGP on computers at MIT may see a prompt like the one below.

If this message appears, users may accept the authentication certificate by selecting Allow. They may be prompted again when the certificate has been renewed. At that point users can select Always allow for this site.
