Overview
Notability is a note-taking, annotation, and sketching app for Apple computers and mobile devices, enabling users to create and share notes that combine handwriting, typing, drawings, audio, and pictures.

Due to a change in Notability’s license terms, IS&T may no longer provide this application for installation on personally-owned devices. You may install the free version or purchase your own license from Notability for personal use. The MIT-provided license for Notability will remain available only through IS&T’s iPad Loan Program for Students. If you are participating in the iPad Loan Program for Students, you do not need to request a license. It will be automatically installed after setup.

Notability does not have any cloud storage component. You store your own files. You can choose to use cloud services like OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Drive to store your notes and have them sync across all your devices. For more information, see: Data Storage and Collaboration Options.
