MECM - Windows 10 to Windows 11 Upgrade

Windows 10 to Windows 11 Upgrade via MECM

You can upgrade your Windows 10 computers to Windows 11 by deploying the application called "EUC - Windows 10 to Windows 11 Upgrade - WSUS Client Side Targeting Reg Key" to any Windows 10 computer.

This "application" adds a registry key to your Windows 10 computer than puts the computer into the Windows 11 group for MIT's Windows Update server. This will allow the computer to receive the Windows 11 upgrade. The Windows 11 OS upgrade will essentially be the same as normal Windows Updates, attempting to download and install in the background everyday.

Please note that any tageted Windows 10 computer must still meet the hardware requirements for the upgrade to be successful. If you're unsure if your computers meet the requirements, please check the Windows 11 readiness dashboard in the MECM console.
