Find Web-based version of an EHS training

Answer

The web-based versions of required EHS trainings will not be displayed in the MIT Learning Center catalog.
Once you complete the EHS Training Needs Assessment, however, the relevant trainings will be offered under My Required Training.

To complete the EHS Training Needs Assessment

  • From Atlas, access the MIT Learning Center.
  • From the Quick Links section, choose My EHS Training Needs.
  • Press Update my EHS Profile.
  • Please complete the Principal Investigator information. If you do not see your PI listed, please contact the EHS office at environment@mit.edu or via phone at 2-3477 and they will assist you.
  • Press Select Activities.
  • From the list of activities that have training implications, select any activities relevant to your work.
  • Click Save.

Result: When you select My Required Training from the Quick Links, you will now see a list of required trainings, including any web-based versions of trainings.

For example, staff or students who work with potentially hazardous chemicals will see web-based versions of EHS: General Chemical Hygeine and EHS: Managing Hazardous Waste.
