Q: MKI - Sending as MIT & Space email addresses
- How can MKI users choose whether to send email from their @mit.edu or @space.mit.edu address?
Answer
- Some MKI users have a space.mit.edu email alias linked to their mit.edu mailbox
- This allows them to select which address to use in the From field when composing email
- The process for enabling and switching addresses depends on the email client used:

By default, messages are sent from user@space.mit.edu. To enable sending from user@mit.edu:

3. Under Mail > Compose and reply, scroll down to “Addresses to send from”
4. Click your @mit.edu to enable it as a send-from option
4. Close the settings window
