Intune Configuration Profiles

Configuration profiles in Intune replace settings formerly applied by group policy. You can review how to create and configure configuration profiles here. Configuration profiles can then be assigned to dynamic device groups provided to you in your welcome email. We recommend considering as few customizations as possible to minimize any impact to the end user experience.

An Intune device checks in every 8 hours and will then apply configuration profiles.  The end user can manually check-in their device with Intune by Opening Company Portal and going to Device>Check Status or Settings and choosing Sync. Rebooting is also an option. More information and answers to common questions about policies and profiles can be found here. Common questions, answers, and scenarios with policies and profiles in Microsoft Intune

For information on configuring a device profile or which dynamic device groups you are assigned please email euc-help@mit.edu.
