How to reset Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L (Verizon Hotspot)

Users should opt to Restore Settings to Factory Defaults only if absolutely necessary as it removes all modified settings including Network Name (SSID), Wi-Fi/Admin Password, etc.

From the Home screen, tap Menu (lower-left).
Note If necessary, press the Power button (top-right edge) to turn on the display.
Tap Settings.
Tap Factory Reset.
Tap Factory Reset again.
To continue, review the disclaimer then tap Confirm.
Note Allow several minutes for the reset process to complete.
Note After restoring to factory defaults, ensure Power Management Settings are set to the preferred options.

If the preceding does not work, users can reset via a reset button under the battery cover:

Remove the battery cover, then press the reset button (using a paperclip or similar tool) for 10 seconds or until 'MiFi resetting' appears on the display.

Note The Reset button is located down inside the hole marked RESET.
