Steps below are for Escalations consultants only |
Step Two: If the missing position exists in SAP
If the missing position exists in SAP, with valid start and end dates, but position still does not show in time sheet for current week, a Service Desk team member will escalate to Payroll Office via the [escalation template].
Note: This would be very unusual.
If the position does not exist in SAP, BH team member use Prefab email below.
Step Two: If Warehouse query shows no hourly position
Prefab Email if Warehouse query shows no hourly position
If you are receiving an error message,
Access Denied ... Service name: ZHR_TIMESHEET
or if you are able to access your time sheet, but there are no positions available in the drop-down menu, this is an indication that the employment position has not yet been entered in SAP. Currently, the Data Warehouse, which is updated nightly, does not yet show an active employment position for you. The first step is to check with the HR administrator for the department. If needed, the HR administrator for the department should contact the HR Payroll Service Center, at x3-4255 or payroll@mit.edu.
