Find and View a Request

This documentation refers to the Atlas Online Gateway.
You can access Atlas at https://atlas.mit.edu/

You can find a request in two ways: using the My Requests link, or the Search Requests link. My Requests is a quick shortcut to your recent requests, while Search Requests lets you do a more detailed search for your own requests or those created by someone else, using specific search criteria. Continue reading to learn more about both methods.

My Requests

Clicking the My Requests link will automatically take you to a list showing your own open requests for the last three months.

Use the date range fields to expand or narrow these results, or change the display to closed results or both using the Status drop down.

Search Requests

Clicking the Search Requests link allows you to search for any request including your own using more detailed search parameters. You could also go to a specific request by number.

  1. Click Search Requests from the "Service Requests" page.
  2. If you know a specific request number, enter it into the first field. Or, use the search fields to do a broader search. Note: You are required to enter either a request number OR a building number.
  3. When you have finished entering the search criteria you wish to use, click the Search button.
  4. Results appear below the search fields. Sort by a column using the arrows next to the column headings.
