Using per-node Access Control on Drupal Cloud

This guide shows how to enable per-node content access - so pages can be individually limited to one group of users or another. Our starting point is being logged in with "content manager" access on a Drupal Cloud site.

  1. Turn on the Content Access module, choose Modules:

  2. Enable, then head to the bottom for Save

  3. It will ask you to rebuild permissions, do so.

  4. Edit the content type of the page you want to edit:
    • Choose Structure from the menu
    • Choose Content types from the list
  5. Edit the desired content type

  6. Now your content type has an access control tab, click on that

  8. Scroll down, enable per content node access control settings
