Saving Files in Abaqus within Citrix

  1. Abaqus uses an older style legacy save dialog box. You are unable to browse the file system as you would with a normal File Explorer window. In order to save a file to your local machine, you'll need to need to navigate to one of the mapped drives that will appear in your Citrix session.

  2. When you attempt to save a file, you will see drive letters that correspond to your local drives. You can use these to save the file to your local computer.
    1. On Windows and macOS platforms, these drives will be automatically mapped.
    2. For Linux Citrix clients, you will need to manually specify a local path to be mapped as a drive in your remote Citrix session. For Linux clients, you may also need to make the Root CA Certificates available to the Citrix Workspace client by performing the steps outlined in this KB article.
