SAP Netweaver Username Password prompt when attempting to access Atlas functions

In a few cases, users have received an SAP Netweaver username/password prompt when trying to access Atlas applications, such as time sheet entry or the MIT Learning Center.

Troubleshooting steps

• Contact the IS&T Service Desk for assistance.
• One possible cause for this error is that there is an issue in your SAP profile which needs to be resolved.
• A screen capture of the error you are seeing, as well as information about which web browser you are using, will be helpful.
• If you are an employee, are you able to access the Tax Withholding screen? If not, what error message do you receive there? This information will help us to more quickly resolve the issue.

For Service Desk consultants

In the few cases where this has been seen, it has been resolved by escalating to the R3 Accounts team. This error message may be an indication that the SAP userid is locked.
