Q: How do I remove or forget a network from my mobile device?

Answer

iPhone and iPad:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap "Info" (the letter 'i' with a circle around it) next to the network to be removed.
  4. Tap Forget This Network.

Android 13:

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet.
  3. Tap Internet.
  4. Tap Saved networks (you may need to swipe down).
  5. Long-press the network to be removed.
  6. Tap Forget.

Samsung (Android) Two Options:

Option 1 Option 2
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to go into Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. Long-press on the network to be removed.
  5. Select Forget Network.
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to go into Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Long-press Wi-Fi.
  4. Tap the three-dot icon, then select Advanced Settings.
  5. Tap Manage Networks.
  6. Long-press on the network to be removed.
  7. Select Delete

Note: Android comes in many different iterations, depending on your phone's manufacturer and your service provider. If the steps above can not be followed, you will need to:

  • Navigate to your device's settings.
  • Locate where the networks are listed.
  • Locate the controls to forget networks.
