Printing on Large Paper from an Athena Computer

Q: How do I print on large paper from an Athena Computer?

Loading Paper into Printer:

Load the 11x17 in paper into either tray. The printer should detect which tray has the large paper. If it does not
automatically detect it, follow the prompts on the printer.

Printing:

1. Click the first icon in the left sidebar, “Dash home”.
2. Search 'adobe' and open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
   Note: You can right click the Adobe icon and select Lock to Launcher to skip this step in the future.
3. Open the PDF you would like to print.
4. When printing, use the following settings:
   • In Page Handling, set Page Scaling to “Fit to Printable Area”.
   • In Properties, set Media size to the appropriate paper dimensions.
   • In Orientation, use Portrait for PDFs with a single page per sheet, and Landscape for PDFs with two pages per
     sheet (like a book).
