Export Data from BrioQuery into Excel

Option 1: Use BrioQuery Export functionality

  1. Retrieve query results.
  2. Follow the menu path File > Export > Section
    Note: If no section of the results are selected, BrioQuery will by default export all results.
    Result: A dialog box opens prompting you to choose file name and location.
  3. Browse to the location on your Windows machine where you'd like to save the file, and enter a file name.
    Result: Data will be saved in an Excel spreadsheet.

Option 2: Copy from a pivot table and paste into Excel

To copy data from a BrioQuery pivot table into an Excel spreadsheet, you can use keyboard shortcuts.

  1. Click into the pivot table in BrioQuery and press Ctr + A (select all).
  2. Press Ctr + C (copy).
  3. Click into the Excel spreadsheet and press Ctr + V (paste).
