Connect to Network Drive on a Mac

  1. While a Finder window is open or the desktop has been clicked, click on Go across the top of the screen, then Connect to Server….
  2. In the Server Address dialog, type: "smb://<YourNetworkAddress>" without the quotes. Click Connect.
  3. Enter your MIT Kerberos user name and password when prompted. Click Connect.
  4. Depending on your role and access at MIT (e.g. student, faculty, or staff), choose the most appropriate volume to access. You may not have access to all volumes.
