Update the employee's MIT Communication Information, Primary Office and Alternate Office information.

Title and Department

To change the employee's position title and department, contact the HR-Payroll Service Center.

Communication Information

Note: The employee's MIT e-mail address is published in the MIT online and printed directories. The employee's fax number and Personal Home Page will appear in the MIT online directory. The employee's MIT pager and mobile telephone numbers are not printed in the MIT directories, but are available to departmental authorized users.

Use this screen to enter the employee's MIT e-mail address, pager, mobile telephone number, Fax number and Personal Home Page. You do not have to enter all fields.

1. Enter the employee's e-mail address in the format: xxx@xxx.xxx.
2. Enter the employee's pager, mobile and fax telephone numbers in the format: 999-999-9999.
3. Enter the employee's URL/Home Page.

Primary and Alternate Office

Note: Primary and Alternate (if applicable) Office information is published in the online and printed MIT directories. You are required to enter a telephone number, site and building for the employee's Primary Office.

1. Enter the employee's office telephone number in the format: 999-999-9999.
2. Select the MIT site location where the employee works.
3. Enter or search for the MIT building where the employee's office is located.Enter the room number of the office.
   Note: If you are deleting an existing Alternate Office, you must select "SELECT A SITE" for the alternate site.

When updates are complete

1. Click Save to save what you have entered, or click Return to </strong> cancel your changes and return to the "Search Results Grid" page.
2. After saving, click Return to go back to the "Search Results Grid" page.
