The Select Payee page allows you to choose the person or vendor to be paid through your RFP. Use Search for a Payee to look up names of MIT people or Non-MIT vendors.
Search for a Payee
| MIT/Non-MIT | Click to choose MIT or Non-MIT if the default selection is incorrect. Use MIT for any current employee who is paid through MIT payroll or any student currently enrolled at MIT. Use Non-MIT when the payee has no affiliation with MIT or when selecting MIT yields no successful matches. |

| Payee Name | Enter the exact last name of a person or all or part of a vendor's name. Use either upper or lower case. If you are not sure of the spelling of a name enter at least 3 characters of both the first and last name. |
Search Results
| Search Results | A list of all the people fitting your search query appears below the search field. From the list, click on the name of the person you want to choose as the Payee of this RFP. Result: You will move to the next screen where you will create an RFP for a reimbursement or payment. |

Note: For a non-MIT payee who is not in the system you can search for the name anyway. You will receive the message: No results found: Continue. You may click Continue to create the RFP. Enter the payee's name manually.

In order to edit Payee, make sure you're under "Manage Reimbursements", not "My Reimbursements".
