To Search for Employee Salary Distribution

Follow these instructions to search for an employee's salary distribution record.

Enter the numerical search information in one or more of the following fields:

• Fiscal Year (Defaults to current year. History goes back to 2007)
• Employee MIT ID to search for an employee or a student
• Org Unit (Number)
• Cost Object
• Cost Object Supervisor using their MIT ID
• Profit Center
  Note: Click on the search icon (binoculars) beside a field to perform a text search for the desired ID number.

(Optional) Choose how your search results will be displayed by clicking the appropriate radio button for each preference in the Distribution Display Preferences:

• Select whether you would like the salary distribution graphic to be, either Shown or Hidden
• Select the graphic time scale for exempt staff to display, either Weeks per Quarter or Months per Fiscal Year
• Select the graphic time scale for non-exempt staff to display, either Weeks per Quarter or Months per Fiscal Year
• Select how Distributions should be shown, by Cost Object or Date.

Click Search at the top or bottom of your screen after entering your search and (optional) display criteria. The resulting screen displays the results of your search.
Click Home to end your eSDS session.
