Finding Groups

This documentation refers to the Atlas Online Gateway.
You can access Atlas at https://atlas.mit.edu/

This window lists the findings groups defined in the system.

Return to List

Click this button to return to the finding group list.

Add Finding Group

Click this button to create a new finding group. Only users who are authorized to maintain questionnaire data will see this button.

Finding Group List

Delete Finding Group

Click the trash can icon to delete a finding group. Only users who are authorized to maintain questionnaire data will see the delete button, and only for findings groups that are not currently in use. If a finding group is selected for any finding type, it is considered to be in use.

ID #

This is the unique id for the finding group.

Finding Group

Name of the finding group. It will appear in the finding menu when editing findings on inspections. Clicking the finding group link will display the view or edit finding group screen, based on the user's authorizations and whether or not the finding group is in use.

Active

Indicates whether or not the finding group is currently active. Only active finding groups can be selected when editing inspection types.

In Use

A finding group referenced in a finding type is considered to be in use. In use finding groups cannot be changed or deleted, but they can be made inactive.
