Cumulative Account Balance Report Screen
You can access Atlas at https://atlas.mit.edu/
The report provides a single row summary by category of unexpended, commitment, and available balance amounts. The report header identifies the report’s name, as of date, cost object, and reported upon periods. The report’s footer provides the date on which the report was run and the username under which the report was produced.
Note: For Endowment accounts, the report displays summary rows for Principal and Cumulative Expendable Balance amounts.
Field Definitions:
Category: Type of cumulative balance for the account. Note: Principal balances are for student endowment accounts only.
Unexpended: Cumulative revenue and transfers minus cumulative expenses.
Commitments: Total amount of all open commitments on the cost object up to the selected month and year.
Available Balance: Total amount available for the cost object up to the selected month and year.
Note: For revenue, principal, and transfer transactions, credits are displayed as positive numbers; debits are negative numbers. For expenses, debits are positive and credits are negative.
Print the Report
- Click Print Report and your desktop’s Print dialog displays.
- Choose the desired printer and other print options.
To change the page orientation and font size before printing, choose your browser’s Page Setup option to select the desired page orientation and scale to change the font size. - Click Print to print the report
Run Another Cumulative Account Balance Report
Click Back to close the report and return to the Cumulative Account Balance Report – Report Request screen.
Close the Cumulative Account Balance Report Application
Click the Home link in the top right corner of the application window.
