Q: How do I run ArcGIS on my Mac?

Answer

ESRI software is available only for use in a Windows environment. That being said, there are ways to run ArcGIS on your Apple computer. Creating a virtual Windows machine inside your Macintosh is a good solution for running ArcGIS.

Once your Mac is set up, you can download ArcGIS from IS&T.

Parallels and Bootcamp are other viable solutions but are not currently supported by IS&T. QGIS is an open source and that can be run on any operating system.
