Q: Is there a Windows 10 Rollback Option?

Answer

To rollback to Windows 10 from Windows 11:

  • Open Start Menu, System, Recovery, select Go Back
  • Choose a reason for going back, click Next
  • On Check for Updates, click No, Thanks
  • Click Next
  • Click Next
  • Select Go back to Windows 10

There are a few caveats to note before you take action.

  • The update to Windows 10 must have taken place within 30 days.
  • This OS will be "de facto" soon and part of Windows updates.
  • You should consider backups with Code42/CrashPlan both before and after rolling back your machine to the prior OS.
