Q: Where can I get legal advice on technology and computing?

Answer

The BU/MIT Technology Law Clinic is a free and confidential legal service created to help MIT students with their technology research, advocacy, and creation. The clinic advises clients in all areas of technology law, including information privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and media law. They also work with students in responding to legal threats and using the law as a research tool, such as through public records litigation.

For more on the clinic, visit https://sites.bu.edu/techlaw/. To schedule a meeting with the Clinic, fill out their intake form at https://sites.bu.edu/techlaw/intake-questionnaire/
