Upload Grades to Gradebook via Assignment Details Template

Context

*Gradebook Module There is no way to go between the classic Stellar Homework tool and the new Gradebook Module. Additionally this article is intended for users that will be grading outside of the gradebook module.

Gradebook Module only accepts files using a specially formatted Excel file downloaded from Gradebook Module.

Answer

The per assignment templates can be found here and also uploaded via that same menu.

1. Create assignments in Gradebook Module (i.e. Homework 1, Homework 2)
2. Download the template from within the assignment (select download assignment details XLS).
3. Populate or copy your grade data into it.
4. Import it back in to the site (select upload assignment details XLS).
5. Repeat this for each subsequent assignment and simply update the template each time with the current grades.
