Unsave SecureCRT or SecureFX Password

How do I unsave my password in SecureCRT / FX?

Context

Users can choose whether or not to save their password when connecting via SecureCRT or SecureFX.

Answer

  1. To remove your password from being saved, go to Options > Session Options while connected to Athena.

  2. In the Session Options window, select SSH2, then select Password and click on Properties. You'll see two options to unsave the password or to change it.
