TSM Backup Service - Register for a TSM Account

TSM (now known as 'Spectrum Protect') accepts new registrations for server machine backups only. To back up your desktop or laptop, download and register for a CrashPlan/Code42 account.

To register for a TSM / Spectrum Protect backup account:

  1. Have the following information handy:
    • SAP Cost Object or your Student ID for tracking and validation.
    • Hostname of the machine
  2. Register for your TSM / Spectrum Protect account.
    You will receive an email with the information you need for your next steps to start the backup process.
