Sophos Central - MECM - Custom Installers for Windows

If you previously received an emailed virus/malware report in on-prem version of Sophos, you may already have a custom Sophos Central Application built and available in the MECM console. Previously, in the on-prem version of Sophos, groups for reporting were determined by Active Directory. This is no longer the case with Sophos Central. To get around this limitation, a custom installer is needed to place computers into the correct computer groups.

An application should be labeled "DLC - Sophos Central" and located at the root of the Applications folder (see screenshot below). This application will automatically put your computers into a custom computer group for your DLC. Data from this computer group will be sent in the custom Sophos reports for your DLC. You must deploy this custom installer either via MECM or manually installed (contact ist-euc@mit.edu for a link to the installer).
