Selecting Accessible Colors for Websites and Documents

Q: How do I select accessible colors for my websites and documents?

Answer

Accessible colors are those that provide an adequate amount of contrast between the background and foreground, or text, color. IS&T has developed a learning module containing two lessons that explain more about color contrast and how to use the Paciello Group's Color Contrast Analyser to select accessible colors.
