SSN prompt no longer required for Atlas applications

This documentation refers to the Atlas Online Gateway.
You can access Atlas at https://atlas.mit.edu/

Previously, the Atlas Personal Information Security check required that the last 4 digits of the Social Security Number (SSN) be entered in order to access the following applications: Personal Information, Paystubs, W-2s, Tax Withholding, and Direct Deposit Preferences. With Duo two-factor authentication now enabled for all Touchstone accounts, the SSN verification is no longer needed.
