SAPgui logon failure, with failure to get Kerberos 4 tickets

Question

I am getting an error when trying to log in to SAPgui:

GSS-API (maj): Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide additional details.
GSS-API (min): Ticket expired

Error in SNC

Also, when I renew my Kerberos credentials, directly in the Network Identity Manager, I get an error message:

Failed to obtain Kerberos 4 credentials.

What could be causing this?

To resolve this issue, upgrade your Kerberos version to KfW 4.x
