Q: Can I sync my mobile device with Gmail Contacts and Google Calendar?

Answer

The simple answer is yes, with some caveats. Google keeps a list of supported platforms up-to-date at their syncing website:

http://www.google.com/sync/

Google also keeps a list of known issues and limitations for each platform at the following pages:

Apple iPhone - Limitations & Issues

Windows Mobile - Limitations & Issues

iPhone & Windows Mobile Users

Google supports syncing its Google Calendar and Gmail Contacts via Microsoft's ActiveSync on both Windows Mobile and iPhone devices. Currently it is only possible to have one ActiveSync/Exchange account on these devices. Please consider your present and future mobile needs carefully before configuring Google Sync.
