Q: My TA is unable to approve or edit attendance grades within my course site.  How do I enable this setting.

Answer

Within the course site:

  • Click on the Gradebook link
  • Click on the "Settings wheel/link" on the right hand side
  • Click the Permissions Tab

Under TAs:

  • To enter attendance grades, enable "Approve assignment grades”
  • To EDIT previously entered attendance grades, enable "Change approved grades”
  • A blue dialog will appear on the right to inform you know the change was made.

Also worth noting is the Help pull down menu within each module that contains a wiki on the current subject/module within.
