Q: Where is the Athena source code?

Answer

Athena is currently based on Ubuntu and Debian, and as with all Debian-derived distributions, the source for any given package can be obtained with the apt-get source command. For example, to obtain the source code for the debathena-auto-update package, you could type:

apt-get source debathena-auto-update

That will download and unpack the source into the current directory.

Athena Source Tree

As of September 2013, the Athena source tree is currently mirrored to GitHub: http://github.com/mit-athena.

The older source locker (/mit/source) contains a snapshot of the source code as it last appeared in Subversion in Summer 2013. The subversion source tree will no longer be updated.
