Q: Why did I get an error when ejected a CD or USB drive on Athena?

Answer

Occasionally when ejecting a CD or USB drive from an Athena workstation, you may see the error

Cannot display computer:///, already mounted

This error can safely be ignored. When you eject a device whose contents you are currently viewing, the Nautilus file browser attempts to switch to the toplevel view of your computer rather than simply giving you an empty window. This does not always work, and generates the error.
