IS&T recently migrated email security infrastructure to a cloud-based platform, Microsoft Office 365. This caused some changes in spam screening behavior. Updates are in progress to relevant KB articles and the IS&T website. For more information, see: Network & Email Security Infrastructure Changes FAQ and IS&T Addresses Email Service Disruptions

Spam Quarantine is a spam filtering system for MIT's email service. The Brightmail AntiSpam appliance scans all incoming email messages before they are delivered to your mailbox. The messages that are identified as spam are immediately put in the Brightmail Spam Quarantine instead of being delivered to your inbox. You can use this page to view items in quarantine, manage your senders lists and your language settings. Spam Quarantine catches most spam and deletes it after two weeks. For more information on Spam Quarantine for MIT email, see Spam Filtering.
