Q: How do I clear my browser's cache automatically each time I close Firefox?

For Windows:
- Navigate to Tools > Options
- Click on the Privacy tab. It looks like a mask.
- In the "History" section next to "Firefox will:", select Use Custom Settings for History from the drop down menu.
- Check the box for "Clear history when Firefox closes"
- Click Settings
- Be sure the box for "Cache" is checked.
- Click OK, then click OK again.
For MacOS:
- Navigate to Firefox > Preferences
- Click on the Privacy tab. It looks like a mask.
- In the "History" section next to "Firefox will:", select Use Custom Settings for History from the drop down menu.
- Check the box next to "Clear History when Firefox Closes."
- Click Settings
- Be sure the box for "Cache" is checked.
- Close the "Preferences" window.
