What information do I enter to obtain an MIT personal certificate?

To obtain an MIT certificate you need your:

  • Kerberos username: The first part of your @mit.edu email address. For example, if your email address is jdoe@mit.edu, your Kerberos username is jdoe.
  • Kerberos password: The password you use to check your @mit.edu email.
  • MIT ID number: 9 digit number found on your MIT ID card. For example, 9xxxxxxxx.
  • A Duo Authentication Method: Two-factor authentication, see: Duo Authentication Landing Page

Once you have these, get your MIT personal certificate at http://ca.mit.edu/
