Q: How can I tell if I have certificates?

You can test your certificates by visiting this URL:

http://web.mit.edu/certificate/test/

That will redirect you to the certificate test page. Read the directions, and then click on the link on the page to test your certificate.

If the test is successful, the web page should display your name and email address. If so, that means your certificate works. If the test succeeds, but you are still unable to access a specific site (ie: WebSIS, MITPAY, Stellar) it may be because of a problem with that site, or because you are not authorized to access that site. Questions regarding Stellar or course websites should be directed to your professor or TA.

If the test is unsuccessful, or your web browser displays an error message, please consult the other stock answers in this category for information on what to do in that case.
