VBScript Error when obtaining certificates in Internet Explorer - Run CertAid for Internet Explorer

I got the following error in Internet Explorer when installing a new certificate:

Internet Explorer error

Solution

Obtain your certificates using CertAid for Internet Explorer.

Additional details

The underlying cause of the error is a permissions setting for the directory: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA. The user does not have full permission to access this folder and cannot access their private key, stored in this folder, so they cannot manually install their certificates.
